What is RapidCell Flat Rate Unlimited?
RapidCell is a service that works in conjunction with either an
unlimited inbound calling package, or a Top 5, MY5, MYFAV option
package ( basically unlimited calling to 5 numbers plan).
These plans are available from all the major mobile carriers,
Rogers, Bell Mobility, Telus, Fido, and then combining that with
one of our RapidCell Flat Rate package, you can start talking
as long and as often as you want to, and enjoy totally flat rate
unlimited calling.
How exactly does the RapidCell system
work?
The RapidCell system is based on a callback or a call through
system. It works by dialing an access number and then you hang
up (for the CallBack) or dialing an access number direct and then
dialing your destination number . At this point the system recognizes
the Caller ID from the phone that you're calling from. You then
simply dial the number that you want to call and the RapidCell
system will connect you to that number through the RapidCell system.
Why does the RapidCell CallBack
access number always "busy" when
I call it?
The reason the RapidCell CallBack access number is always busy
is so that you never get charged for an outbound call on your
mobile phone plan. Whenever you call a number that is BUSY, you
never pay for that call. By setting it up this way, we make sure
that you never get charged for an outgoing call from your mobile
carrier.
How does the RapidCell CallBack
service make all of my calls
from my mobile FREE?
The RapidCell CallBack service
works on the call back principal. When you dial into the
system, that is an outbound call, but because the RapidCell access
number is always busy, you do not get charged for that outbound
call. Now when the RapidCell system calls you back, that is an
inbound call. (You have to make sure that you have unlimited
inbound calling package from your mobile carrier, all the major
carriers have them available) and you are not charged
for that call. At this point you dial your destination number
to wherever you want to call, and the call is routed through the
RapidCell system and in that way you don't get charged by your
mobile carrier as an outbound call and that call is completely
unlimited with no airtime minutes charged to your account.
How
does the RapidCell CallThrough service make all
of my calls from my mobile FREE?
The RapidCell CallThrough service
works on the call through principal. You simply dial our access
number, and you will get our voice prompt right away, at this
point you dial your destination number to wherever you want to
call, and the call is routed through the RapidCell system and
in that way you don't get charged by your mobile carrier as an
outbound call and that call is completely unlimited with
no airtime minutes charged to your account. For this version you
have to make sure that you have a
Top 5, MY5, MYFAV option package ( basically unlimited calling
to 5 numbers plan) from your mobile carrier, all
the major carriers have them available.
Will the RapidCell service work
with all mobile phones?
Yes, the RapidCell service will work on any mobile phone device
no matter what the manufacture.
Will the RapidCell service work with ALL
carriers in Canada or the US?
Yes, the RapidCell service will work with any all carriers in
Canada and the US
Can I get an unlimited inbound calling
package from my current provider?
Yes. All of the major carriers in Canada, Rogers Wireless, Fido,
Bell Mobility, Solo, and Telus Mobility have some kind of unlimited
inbound calling package. To check for sure simply call your carrier
and ask about what they offer for unlimited inbound calling.
Can I get an unlimited to 5 outbound
calling package from
my current provider?
Yes. Most of the major carriers in Canada have some kind of unlimited
outbound calling package available. They go by the names such
as My Top 5, MY5, MYFAV. Rogers Wireless,
Fido, Bell Mobility, Solo, Telus Mobility all have some version
this type of calling package. To check for sure simply call your
carrier and ask about what they offer for unlimited outbound calling.
What exactly are the dialing instructions
for using the RapidCell CallBack
service?
Using the RapidCell CallBack service is very simple. Simply dial
the access number 1-416-477-0107 from wherever
you are in Canada. You will get a busy signal, hang up immediately.
The RapidCell system will call you back within 2-3 seconds, and
you simply answer the call. At this point you will hear the voice
prompt “Welcome please enter the destination number followed
by the # sign”, then dial “1” or “011”
(for International calls) and the number you want to call. Remember
you must dial “1” before your number, even if the
number is a local call. Don't worry, if the number is local the
RapidCell system will not charge any long distance charges on
your account.
What exactly are the dialing instructions
for using the RapidCell
CallThrough service?
Using the RapidCell CallThrough service is even easier. Simply
dial the access number from your local area, choose the local
number from our list of access numbers that is local to where
you are in Canada. You will immediately hear the voice prompt
“Welcome please enter the destination number followed by
the # sign”, then dial “1” or “011”
(for International calls) and the number you want to call. Remember
you must dial “1” before your number, even if the
number is a local call. Don't worry, if the number is local the
RapidCell system will not charge any long distance charges on
your account.
Can I use the RapidCell to make
long distance calls?
Yes of course. You can use RapidCell to make all of your long
distance calls through your mobile phone. You can call long distance
to any destination in the world at RapidCell’s great low,
low rates starting from just 2.9 cents per minute for
all of Canada, the US and 3.9 cents to 30 other countries
in the world, and great low prices to all other destinations.
To make long distance calls on the RapidCell system, you simply
dial your destination number when you hear the voice prompt after
accessing our RapidCell system. All your calls will be billed
on your next monthly invoice.
Where can I use the RapidCell service
from?
You can use the RapidCell service from anywhere across Canada
and USA! When using RapidCell you will still pay the same great
low per minute long distance rates that you would enjoy as if
making calls from your mobile phone at home from your local area.
Because it's a callback service, when you call the access number
it rings busy, so you are not charged for the long distance call.
When the system calls you back, it is simply dialing a local number.
So no matter where you are, you can make long distance calls as
if you were at home.
Note:
Any roaming charges and any other charges that are applicable
to your cellular phone plan would be charged by your provider
when you are outside your local coverage area.
Can I still make unlimited local
or long distance calls even when
I’m away from my local area?
Yes. This is one of the great features of the RapidCell service.
You can still make local calls to your local coverage area even
when you are out of the local area. Because it's a callback service,
when you call the access number it rings busy, so you are not
charged for the long distance call. When the system calls you
back, it is simply dialing your local mobile number, so you then
just dial the local number you want to call. So no matter where
you are, you can make local calls as if you were at home for free.
What is my local coverage area?
This is the local calling area covered by your cell phone provider.
Your carrier can provide you the exact details of your local coverage
area (or home area).
What if I miss the call back?
When you dial the CallBack access number and it rings, hang up
right away. You should receive a call back from our system within
seconds of hanging up. If you do not receive a call within three
to four seconds, the system was unable to reach you for a number
of reasons. It could be that you may have been on a call, or there
was a poor signal where you were at the time. Simply call the
access number back and try again.
How do I find the rates for the
country I am calling?
You can find all the rates to the countries you're calling by
going to our main home page at http://www.rapidtel.com/longdistance.htm
and there in the middle of the page you will find a section
called Select a Country to view our current rate just click it
and all of the rates are there.
How do I pay for the RapidCell service?
The RapidCell service is a monthly service and it is billed in
advance at the beginning of the month. The accepted forms of payment
are Pre-authorized credit card or PAP (Pre-Authorized Payment)
plan through your bank. You will receive your invoice each month
by email, usually by the 3rd of the month. We will run your amount
owing on the invoice usually by the 5th day of the month.
How does the billing for long distance
work?
You do not have to prepay for long distance calls on the RapidCell
service. when you sign up for a RapidCell account, we give you
credit in your account of $10. This allows you to make long distance
calls right away. If you run over that amount before the end of
the month, you simply call our office and we can increase your
account ( based on your account status and payment history).
Do I need to prepay for long distance
if have one of the monthly packages?
You do not have to prepay for long distance calls on the RapidCell
service if you have one of the monthly packages. When you sign
up for a RapidCell monthly package, again we give you credit in
your account of $10. This allows you to make long distance calls
right away. If you run over that amount before the end of the
month, you simply call our office and we can increase your account
( based on your account status and payment history).
How do I sign up for the service?
To sign up for the service you simply click on the Sign up button
on the RapidCell page and it will take you to a list page where
you will see RapidCell. Just click on that link and it take you
our 100% secure sign up page. Once there you simply fill out the
service you want, and all of the other information needed, and
your payment information. You will need to read the Terms and
Conditions in Usage Agreement. Then click submit and your order
will be sent to our secure order portal page.
How long does it take to be activated?
Once we receive your order in our secure order portal, we will
put you in our system. If you signed up online, you will be activated
within 24 hrs. If you call our office and sign up over the phone
you will be activated within 2 hours. Once you have been activated
in our system you will receive an automated email message confirming
that you have been activated in the system and it gives you a
lot of other information, such as your login and password for
your online account page.
How do I access my online account
page?
To access your online account page, you simply go to http://www.rapidtel.com/rapidcell.htm
and on the right hand side you will see the link called Access
My Account . Click on there and it will take you to your
account sign up page. At this point simply put in your login and
password info and you will have access to your account page.
Do I need to contact my wireless
provider to use the RapidCell
service?
No,
you do not need to contact your wireless provider to use the RapidCell
services. RapidCell works completely independently from your wireless
provider. The only thing you need to make
of is that is that you currently either an unlimited incoming
calls package - OR - a Top 5, MY5, MYFAV option package ( basically
unlimited calling to 5 numbers plan) (one or the other of these
packages is required to use the RapidCell service). Then,
you simply subscribe to RapidCell and we will activate your mobile
phone number for the service.
